In addition, staff ensures that our platform will continue to serve the future needs of consumers and advertisers.
Headquartered in Glendale, California, approximately ten minutes from downtown Los Angeles, our corporate staff is housed on three newly remodeled floors of an office building in the heart of the city's business center. Our Premise Sales professionals are located in nearly 20 major cities across the country, and Telephone Sales representatives serve customers from offices in Henderson, Nevada (just outside of Las Vegas), and Charlotte, North Carolina.

This team also negotiates rates and terms, reviews and administers contracts, and continues to seek out new, mutually beneficial business relationships. These external partnerships are an important part of our business that enables YELLOWPAGES.COM to add value for our users and advertisers.

Consumer Experience is responsible for consumer features, user experience, mobile applications, interactive television and cross-platform, search, search engine optimization, and Web analytics for all applications and platforms. This group combines product management, platform delivery, and user experience to ensure that YELLOWPAGES.COM is consumers' preferred site, when they need something locally.

Human Resources is responsible for recruiting and staffing one of the fastest growing companies within AT&T, YELLOWPAGES.COM. It also oversees employee retention, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and works with all departments to develop and train its talented employees. The Human Resources team conducts compensation reviews, manages employee relations and benefits and oversees all recruitment activities. This area also spearheads participation in job fairs and administers an internship program for college students to give those with IT and engineering expertise a head start on their careers.

Staff members also evaluate, recommend and implement product enhancements and new product concepts - including new emerging multimedia solutions such as mobile, video and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV). Marketing employees support Internet Yellow Pages, search engine and marketing solutions, and maximize advertising revenue from Interactive Ad Agency, Fortune 500 and dot–com direct sales.

The Operations area tracks all corporate projects and workflow, managing departmental challenges and ensuring deadlines are met. Operations also manages the national ad production and customer service teams and the facilities experts. Ad production employees finalize online ads and ensure they are posted to YELLOWPAGES.COM in accordance with customers' contracts. Customer service representatives assist customers over the phone, answering questions and solving issues. The facilities team manages the physical workplace, including orchestrating the remodeling and move to the new headquarters building in Glendale and installing state-of-the-art VOIP phones in 2007, opening a dozen sales offices across the country in 2006, security, and day-to-day challenges like purchasing office supplies and keeping copiers humming smoothly.

These sales representatives are very experienced professionals who meet with potential customers face-to-face at their sites. Located in nearly 20 major cities across the country, they counsel customers on what information to include on their YELLOWPAGES.COM ad as well as on their own business Web sites. They also sell guaranteed clicks on major search engines, including Google, Yahoo! Yellow Pages, MSN, AOL Yellow Pages, Alta Vista and MetaCrawler. These highly motivated sales pros, whose compensation can include a base salary plus a generous commission, really know how to "Turn Yellow Into Green."

Our Telephone Sales locations, in Henderson and Charlotte, house more than 300 skilled and enthusiastic sales representatives who help businesses create the most effective advertising strategies - including business listing ads, Web sites and search engine solutions. It's not telemarketing - reps conduct research before making a phone call to a prospective client. Like the Premise Sales team, these reps also sell products on our distribution partners' sites, including Google, Yahoo! Yellow Pages, and AOL Yellow Pages. A college degree is not required, but call center experience may be helpful, and professionalism, self-discipline, teamwork and a strong work ethic are critical.

In this area, employees provide overall sales support as well as sales operational efficiencies, including tracking sales orders, maintaining monthly sales activity and working with other departments on sales processes.
